(13)

Hōʻik 12:3A ʻike hou ʻia akula ma ka lani kekahi mea kupanaha hou; aia hoʻi he deragona nui ʻulaʻula, ʻehiku ona poʻo, a he ʻumi pepeiaohao, a ma kona mau poʻo, ʻehiku lei aliʻi.Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his heads.
Hōʻik 12:4Huki maila kona huelo i ka hapakolu o nā hōkū o ka lani, a kiola ihola iā lākou i lalo i ka honua. Kū maila ua deragona nei, i mua o ka wahine e hānau ana, e ʻai aku i kāna keiki i kona wā e hānau ai.His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.
Hōʻik 12:7A he kaua nō ma ka lani: kaua mai ʻo Mikaʻela a me kona poʻe ʻānela i ka deragona; a kaua aku ka deragona a me kona poʻe ʻānela; And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.
Hōʻik 12:9Kipaku ʻia akula ua deragona nui nei, ʻo ia hoʻi ka moʻo kahiko i kapa ʻia ʻo ka diabolō, a ʻo Sātana, nāna nō i hoʻowalewale mai i ko ke ao nei a pau. Kiola ʻia maila ʻo ia i ka honua, a kiola pū ʻia maila kona poʻe ʻānela. The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Hōʻik 12:13A ʻike aʻela ka deragona, ua kipaku ʻia ʻo ia i lalo i ka honua, a laila, hoʻomaʻau aʻela ia i ka wahine i hānau i ke keiki kāne.When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.
Hōʻik 12:16Kōkua akula ka honua, ma muli o ka wahine; a hāmama akula i kona waha, a moni ihola i ka muliwai a ka deragona i luaʻi aku ai ma kona waha aku.But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
Hōʻik 12:17Inaina akula ka deragona i ka wahine, a hele akula ia e kaua me ka poʻe i koe o kāna poʻe keiki, ʻo ka poʻe i mālama i ke kānāwai o ke Akua, a hoʻomau i ka hōʻike ʻana iā Iesū.Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring--those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Hōʻik 13:2A ʻo ua holoholona lā aʻu i ʻike ai, ua like ia me ka leopadi, a ʻo kona wāwae ua like me ko ka bea, ʻo kona waha me ka waha o ka liona. A hāʻawi hoʻi ka deragona iā ia i kona mana a me kona noho aliʻi a me ka ikaika nui.The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.
Hōʻik 13:4Hoʻomana akula lākou i ka deragona nāna i hāʻawi i ka ikaika no ua holoholona lā; a hoʻomana lākou i ka holoholona, ʻī aʻela, ʻO wai lā ka mea like me ia holoholona? ʻO wai hoʻi ka mea hiki ke kaua aku iā ia?Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, "Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?"
Hōʻik 13:11A ʻike akula au i kahi holoholona hou e hōʻea mai ana, mai loko mai o ka honua; ʻelua ona pepeiaohao e like me ke keiki hipa, a ʻōlelo aʻela ia e like me ka deragona. Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.
Hōʻik 16:13A ʻike akula au i nā ʻuhane haukaʻe ʻekolu e like me nā rana, mai loko mai o ka waha o ka deragona, a me ka waha o ka holoholona, a me ka waha o ke kāula wahaheʻe.Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Hōʻik 20:2A lālau akula ia i ka deragona, kēlā moʻo kahiko, ʻo ia hoʻi ʻo ka diabolō, a ʻo Sātana hoʻi, a nakinaki ihola iā ia a paʻa i nā makahiki hoʻokahi tausani; He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.
