Rahaba

Rahaba

(11)

Mat 1:5Na Salemona lāua me Rahaba ʻo Boaza; na Boaza lāua me Ruta ʻo ʻObeda; na ʻObeda ʻo Iese;Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse,
Heb 11:31No ka manaʻoʻiʻo i make pū ʻole ai ʻo Rahaba ka wahine hoʻokamakama me ka poʻe hoʻomaloka, ma hope iho o kona hoʻokipa ʻana i nā kiu me ke aloha.By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.
Iak 2:25ʻAʻole anei i hoʻāpono ʻia ʻo Rahaba ka wahine hoʻokamakama ma ka hana ʻana i ka wā āna i hoʻokipa ai i nā ʻelele, a hoʻouna akula ma ke ala ʻē?In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction?
Ios 2:1Hoʻouna akula ʻo Iosua, ke keiki a Nuna i nā kānaka ʻelua, mai Sitima aku e kiu malū, ʻī aʻela, Ō uhaele e mākaʻi i ka ʻāina iā Ieriko. Hele aku lāua a komo i loko o ka hale o kekahi wahine hoʻokamakama, ʻo Rahaba kona inoa, a moe ihola lāua ma laila. Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two spies from Shittim. “Go, look over the land,” he said, “especially Jericho.” So they went and entered the house of a prostitute named Rahab and stayed there.
Ios 2:3Hoʻouna akula ke aliʻi o Ieriko, ʻī akula iā Rahaba, E lawe mai ʻoe i waho i ua mau kānaka lā i hele mai i ou lā, a i komo i loko o kou hale; no ka mea, ua hele mai lāua e mākaʻi i ka ʻāina a pau.So the king of Jericho sent this message to Rahab: “Bring out the men who came to you and entered your house, because they have come to spy out the whole land.”
Ios 6:17A e laʻa kēlā kūlanakauhale iā Iēhova, ʻo ia, a me nā mea a pau i loko. ʻO Rahaba, ʻo ka wahine hoʻokamakama, ʻo ia wale nō ke ola, ʻo ia a me nā mea a pau i loko o ka hale me ia, no ka mea, nāna nō i hūnā i nā ʻelele a kākou i hoʻouna aku ai.The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent.
Ios 6:23Komo akula ua mau kānaka uʻi lā ʻo nā kiu, a lawe maila i waho iā Rahaba, a me kona makua kāne, a me kona makuahine, a me nā kaikunāne ona, a me kona mau mea a pau; a lawe maila nō hoʻi lākou i kona poʻe hoahānau a pau, a waiho ihola iā lākou ma waho o kahi i hoʻomoana ai ka ʻIseraʻela. So the young men who had done the spying went in and brought out Rahab, her father and mother, her brothers and sisters and all who belonged to her. They brought out her entire family and put them in a place outside the camp of Israel.
Ios 6:25Hoʻōla akula ʻo Iosua iā Rahaba, ka wahine hoʻokipa, a me ka poʻe o kona makua kāne, a me kona mea a pau, aia nō hoʻi ia e noho lā i nēia lā, me ka ʻIseraʻela; no ka mea, nāna nō i hūnā i nā ʻelele a Iosua i hoʻouna aku ai e mākaʻi iā Ieriko. But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute, with her family and all who belonged to her, because she hid the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho — and she lives among the Israelites to this day.
Hal 87:4I ka poʻe ʻike mai iaʻu, e kamaʻilio aku au no Rahaba, a me Babulona: Aia ʻo Pilisetia, a me Turo, a me ʻAitiopa, ʻO ia kai hānau ʻia ma laila."I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me-- Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush-- and will say, 'This one was born in Zion.' "
Hal 89:10Ua paopao nō ʻoe iā Rahaba, me he mea lā i pepehi ʻia; I ka ikaika o kou lima, ua hoʻoʻauheʻe ʻoe i kou poʻe ʻenemi. You crushed Rahab like one of the slain; with your strong arm you scattered your enemies.
ʻIsaia 51:9E ala, e ala, e ʻaʻahu i ka ikaika, e ka lima o Iēhova; E ala, e like me ia i nā lā ma mua, I nā hanauna kahiko loa aku hoʻi. ʻAʻole anei ʻoe ka mea nāna i ʻokiʻoki iā Rahaba? A hou iho nō hoʻi i ka moʻo nui?Awake, awake! Clothe yourself with strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old. Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through?
